The 688 (ZrO₂) is a miniature deep groove ball bearing featuring a core structure made entirely of Zirconia (ZrO₂) ceramic. It is engineered to excel in high-speed applications, corrosive environments, and situations requiring electrical insulation and broad temperature adaptability, making it a common choice for precision equipment and specialized operating conditions.

Full Ceramic Advantages: ZrO₂ offers high hardness, excellent wear resistance, and corrosion resistance; it is non-magnetic and electrically insulating, thereby preventing electrochemical corrosion and magnetic interference.

Lightweight & Low Friction: With a density approximately one-third that of steel, the ceramic construction generates lower centrifugal force, making it ideally suited for high-speed rotation and low-torque drive systems.

Wide Temperature Range & Self-Lubrication: Capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -50°C to +150°C. When paired with retainers made from materials such as PTFE, the bearing offers oil-free self-lubrication, significantly reducing maintenance requirements.
